Barely translucent approaching inky garnet hues in the glass. Ripe fruit over smoke on the nose, complimented by rich plum and blackberry on the palate. Palate also shows a whiff of orange peel and coffee. Rustic, with Pinot Noir-like heft, a supple mouthfeel, lip-smacking fruit and a lingering finish.
