Tanglerose, Backyard Red, Lot 13B-CC, Livermore, California
Taste
A rich blend of red and black fruits with high notes of smoke, earth and black pepper dominating the aromas and palate. Good structure and supple mouthfeel. Full-bodied with approachable tannins.
Varietal
42% Syrah, 23% Tempranillo, 9% Barbera and 26% mixed red table wine.
Region
Livermore Valley
Winemaking
There was no oak on the Syrah and Barbera; neutral French oak on the Tempranillo delivering a cigar box or humidor element and the mixed red components saw little-to-no oak.

A really great red wine. Had a BBQ and served this- everyone loved it! Plan to make a sangria with this wine. Will be buying more!

I am a red wine drinker and this has to be one of the best I have had. I purchased a few bottles to be certain because if it is as scrumptious as it was at the tasting, I will be purchasing more.

This red is one of my all time favorites! It is smooth and just the right combination of flavors. I purchased two bottles at my first Traveling Vineyard tasting and just ordered myself two more! Yum!

I don't tend to drink dry reds but this blend was very good.
