Chocolate-covered black cherries on the nose and palate with hint of purple flowers and cedar spice. Threads of black tea and hazelnut underneath. Elegant and balanced with good structure.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

California
Winemaking
Composed of five different components from growers all across the state, chosen because they deliver Bentgate's California-by-way-of-Bordeaux style. 15 months in French oak, 35% new (delivers slight cedar note).

Loved this wine at a recent tasting party I was at. Loved it so much I made sure to buy a bottle of it from the host. First sip was a little spicy which I didn't mind but the after taste was softer and more velvety. Definitely a complex wine that can be paired with a lot from entree to dessert. Looking forward to having it again.
