Taste
Intense ripe blackberry notes with earthy soft baked red berry fruit aromas and flavors. Some black pepper and spice on the palate as well.
Varietal
70% Monastrell, 30% Syrah.
Winemaking
Monastrell was aged a small amount of time in French and American oak barrels. The Syrah spent no time in oak.

I enjoyed this wine very much. I ordered a few bottles. I would not recommend it to those who don't care for reds as it is not for the faint of heart. I loved it!

Tasty, not to dry, flavorful wine. I recommend this for any red wine drinker.
