Giovina, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Italy – 2015
Taste
Opaque & inky garnet-to-brick, medium body. Integrated nose of smoke, earth, and hints of leather dominated by juicy plum. Good acidity - an almost lip-smacking, traces of spice, smoke & earth in support of a cherry/plum hybrid - a vibrant house red pour with some old-world character.
