Santoreggia, Sangiovese, Puglia IGT, Italy - 2014

Notes of ripe red cherry and mocha on the nose. The palate shows some dark forest floor, black pepper and smoke over red-black fruits. Overall the wine has wonderful body with medium tannins and good structure. Lingering finish

So deep and smooth without being too heavy....just waiting to be enjoyed with a great steak! Great value, too. I've purchased similar wines for almost $10 more per bottle, and they were mass-produced, preservative-filled brands. So happy to have been introduced to this one!
