Taste

Intense ripe blackberry notes with earthy soft baked red berry fruit aromas and flavors. Some black pepper and spice on the palate as well

Varietal

70% Monastrell, 30% Syrah.

Winemaking

Monastrell was aged a small amount of time in French and American oak barrels. The Syrah spent no time in oak.

    Great Red...paired well with Grilled Italian Sausage and antipasta salad...no bitter aftertaste like some reds give.
