Region
The Colchagua Valley, is where heat-loving varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère thrive. The region was chosen by “Wine Enthusiast” magazine as the Best Wine Region of the World back in 2005 for its ability to produce world-class reds. Located at the foot of the Andes extending west to the Pacific Ocean, the valley is becoming a go-to region for a new breed of Cabernet blends along the popular Wine Route of the Colchagua Valley.

This wine was aged in stainless steel for 10 months and had contact with French and American oak for 2 months.

I have been without wine for 7 years due to an allergy to sulfates. I was given this Rayado Cabernet Sauvignon by a fellow breast cancer Survivor to try because it did not have any added Sulfates to the wine. To my surprise I absolutely loved the wine and it didn't make me sick! Yeah!! After 7 years I can finally drink wine again! The flavor kept my tongue satisfied between the raspberry and plum flavors and no nasty aftertaste, I am sold! Thank you, for giving this cancer Survivor a wine to celebrate Survivorship with! It and you are much appreciated!

My husband liked this wine a lot. It was not my favorite but I am not a very big red wine drinker. This would pair very well with a lot of our dinners though. So we did purchase a bottle of this as well.

I was never a fan of dry red wines before I tried this one – so smooth, and didn’t dry my mouth out like some reds I’ve had in the past! Can’t wait to get my bottles!

This is an excellent wine and always a “go to” wine for everything. Cabs are not my choice for wine but I have enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Loved this wine! Lesa made an effort to bring this to my party which I appreciate. I made a purchase of more than 1 bottle too!

I do not typically like cabs but this is a good wine. Liked it better aerated. I would buy this as opposed to another Cab that I had not tasted before. Alot of people I know love cabs so this would be a great gift.

Light. Not very full bodied. Personally i prefer I deeper cab but this is very good for a spring or fall evening meal.

I am not a red wine drinker, however I was pleasantly surprised, still not my taste, however I bought a bottle to have on hand for my red wine drinker friends and I am sure my husband will love this.

Really enjoyed this wine, since I primarily drink Cabs. Haven’t tasted a lot of Cabs from Chile, so I was happy to find one I enjoyed. Good value.
