Ahhhh Pedretti! I love this wine. It adds a wonderfully rich note to any meal - and in a Sicilian home it is a must for our wine rack. It pairs perfectly with most of the dishes I make from meatballs to gnocchi. There is one problem with it though - I KEEP RUNNING OUT!

not a big fan of this wine by itself, but it is FABULOUS in sangria. it is very intense lots of depth so too overwhelming for my tastebuds, this makes a great sangria paired with fruit and a splash of brandy

This is a really nice red wine, and also a favorite of the group at my tasting.

4.5! How has no one reviewed this wine??! It’s excellent! By far the highest seller at my tasting. For someone like me who typically prefers bolder, heavier red wines, I didn’t expect much from this Nero d’Avola. Upon smelling, you get the hints of red berries (cherries). In my tasting set (Bright Eyed Bird PG, Screaming Goat, Perique, Pedretti and Rayado Cab), this was the first one that had a pronounced earthy and spicy taste, and it quickly became my group’s favorite, as well as my personal favorite. To be honest, I don’t think I would need any food to pair with this, I could just chug–I mean, drink it by itself….but am curious to see how stuffed mushrooms would go with it. Has anyone tried?
