Opaque, "right out of the oven" inky purple-to-garnet; medium body. Integrated & herbaceous black earthy cherry-to-blackberry nose, slight tree bark smoke, leather & plum notes. Good structure, weight, feel, extraction. The cherry-to-blackberry nose fruit dominates in the mouth with lip-smacking acidity just starting to emerge. A vibrant house red with old-world character.
